Getting ready to launch
We are getting ready to formally launch CR0Tech at Croydon's We Mean Business exhibition at Fairfield Halls on Thursday 3rd November. If you want to know more about CR0Tech and what we hope to achieve, then please do pass by the event and see us. There will be leaflets and other information for you to take away and we hope to ready to start selling affiliate membership by then, so will have a great offer for those who sign up at the event.
Its been another busy month since the last update. Meeting many more people in Croydon, looking at potential premises and talking to potential backers. We are pleased to have generated so much interest already and thank all the individuals and organisations that have pledged support, offered to help with web development, hosting, marketing or even making coffee for free at the coffee shop. The community spirit is alive and kicking.
Our logo has been tweaked a little after we launched a logo design contest on Freelancer.co.uk. We had hundreds of entries from all over the world and decided to use a logo which is very similar to the original one but with an improved font which is a bit less techy.
We will be publishing a brief report in the next few days, "Why Croydon?" this will be our initial attempt at highlighting why Croydon is an excellent base for technology businesses of all sizes and we hope to refine it over the next few months once we get feedback from the community.
Thanks again for all your support so far. We look forward to getting CR0Tech up and running and 'turning Croydon on through technology'.
