In this edition of the cr0tech blog we welcome our newest member of staff – Adam Michael, and find out more about him and what he will be doing for cr0tech.

Who’s the new guy and how did you find him?

Hi I’m Adam and firstly it’s very bizarre to be writing a blog about myself!

I met Saif over coffee and it was clear within 5 minutes of our conversation that he was planning something phenomenal for Croydon.

The ideas he discussed and his vision for the future of Cr0tech made me feel incredibly inspired and I knew within minutes of talking to him that I wanted to be part of the Cr0tech team, as such I’m very pleased to be here!

What’s your background new boy?

I started my career in the travel industry and worked my way up to a marketing role at a local tour operator. Since then I’ve gone onto work for the likes of Virgin Limited Edition Holidays and BMI Publishing implementing marketing strategies and running social media and viral marketing campaigns…. In short I’m a marketing geek!

What will you be doing?

I will be looking after online marketing for Cr0tech. This will include working day to day on our social media channels, writing our blogs, putting together suggestions to increase our social media presence, and working on ways to increase consumer awareness of Cr0tech.

In addition, I will be working wherever he is needed on the hub, this includes, liaising with potential suppliers, writing job specifications, and helping Saif with whatever he needs to get Cr0tech up and running.

When do you start?

I’ve already started! I joined the team in late January 2012, in fact you may well have already spoken to me on Twitter and Facebook… yep, that’s me, the guy who never stops tweeting!
